Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Hematology/Oncology Float Pool Staff Registered Nurses to support our oncology departments across multiple locations. This role requires a flexible and adaptable nursing professional to provide high-quality patient care in various units.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients across various departments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and assess patient conditions regularly.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations while providing care.
- Participate in staff education and training programs as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in oncology nursing preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to float between different oncology units as needed.
Work Schedule
This position requires availability for 3x12 hour night shifts.
