We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience to join our team in a travel role. This position specifically addresses coverage gaps in the NICU, requiring a professional who is prepared to work night shifts.

Position Information

• Role: RRT Respiratory Therapist
• Specialty: Respiratory Therapy
• Shift: 7 AM - 7:30 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Call Requirements: Yes, must be available 2 hours prior to the oncoming shift
• Years of Experience: 3+ years required
• Float Requirements: Some NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, ED, and adult acute/critical care required

Education & Certifications Required

• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• NRP certification for NICU required
• RRT credential required

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: Varied based on daily assignments
• Patient Ratios: Acute care 1:25, Critical care 1:8
• Equipment: Drager V500, VN500, Hamilton T1, C1, Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, Vapotherm
• Electronic Medical Records: EPIC

Hiring Profile

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Experience in tertiary teaching hospitals and level 1 trauma centers
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: NICU/PICU and Cardiothoracic experience
• Type of Patients on Unit: Varied patient demographics and conditions
• Personality Fit: Flexible, team-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills
