We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our float pool team. This position requires flexibility and the ability to work in various units, ensuring high-quality patient care across multiple settings.

Position Details

• Contract Duration: 8 weeks
• Start Date: December 7
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating between days and nights
• Weekly orientations available

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, adjusting care as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support patient education regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and CPR certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry setting.
• Strong telemetry experience required; familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system is essential.
• Ability to adapt to multiple units and changing patient needs.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

Additional Information

Requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application, with a maximum of three days allowed. No holiday time off requests will be approved.
