Role Overview

The Registered Nurse will take on the responsibilities of educator, consultant, researcher, facilitator, role model, mentor, and leader in an acute care setting. This role will involve assessing staff educational needs and planning, coordinating, conducting, and evaluating educational programs aimed at promoting adult learning, enhancing patient outcomes, and supporting professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess staff educational needs and develop appropriate educational programs.
• Plan and coordinate orientation and other educational offerings within the Nursing Division's framework.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of educational initiatives and make improvements as needed.
• Serve as a mentor and role model to nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to align educational programs with organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in education or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required.
• BLS and ACLS instructor certification required prior to start.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience, with critical care experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must have been separated from previous employment for a minimum of 6 months to be eligible for consideration. Candidates will be required to pass ECG/Tele and Medication tests, administered by CCH via Zoom Protector meeting, with an 85% passing score.
