Description

Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in various surgical disciplines.

Job Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and management of the operating room.
Perform circulating duties during surgeries and procedures.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
Provide intraoperative and postoperative support, including recovery care in the PACU.
Participate in patient assessments, education, and care planning.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of 2 years of travel experience as an Operating Room RN.
Experience in endoscopies, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, and podiatry is preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required.
Experience with Oracle/Cerner EMR systems is preferred, but not mandatory.

Patient Demographics

Responsible for the care of patients ranging from ages 7 to 100.

Additional Information

If lacking in PACU experience, training will be provided to ensure comprehensive skill development.
