Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technician for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will work a schedule of four 10-hour shifts, from Tuesday to Friday, with hours from 6 AM to 4:30 PM. This position does not require on-call duties, weekend shifts, or overnight hours, providing a consistent work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans on patients while adhering to safety protocols.
- Ensure patient comfort and understanding of the procedure prior to the scan.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
- Collaborate with other medical personnel to ensure quality patient care.
- Operative MRI machinery and equipment in accordance with established guidelines.
Qualifications
- Certification in MRI technology.
- Current BLS certification.
- Licensed as an MRI Technologist (specific state licensing may be required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and adherence to protocols.
