Unit Overview
The General Medicine Unit consists of 27 beds, where clinicians provide care for a diverse range of disease processes affecting the respiratory, endocrine, cardiac, immune/infectious disease, and renal systems.
Work Schedule
- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Available hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Every other weekend required
- Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays
- Block scheduling not available
Time Off Policy
- 40 hours of time off can be approved
- Time off around Christmas is not approved
Qualifications
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications preferred, but not required
- Must comply with float policy
- EPIC experience required
- Virginia nursing license pending submissions are acceptable
