Overview: We are seeking an experienced Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech to join our team. This role requires a commitment to excellence in surgical services while providing support in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures by providing technical support and ensuring instruments and equipment are prepared and sterile.
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical staff to facilitate efficient surgical operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized surgical environment.
• Manage and anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures.
• Document and manage surgical supplies and instruments accurately.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical tech role.
• Experience in ambulatory OR, community hospitals, and general OR environments is required.
• Completion of at least 1 travel assignment is mandatory.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is preferred.

Additional Information:

• Schedule: 5x8 hour shifts from 0700 to 1730, Monday through Friday
• Rotational weekend call may be required.
• Scrubs will be provided.
