Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Cytotechnologist to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will perform skilled laboratory work in the examination and evaluation of cytological samples, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy in reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform microscopic examinations of cytological specimens to identify abnormalities.
• Prepare and stain specimens using standard laboratory techniques.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of findings and procedures.
• Collaborate with pathologists and healthcare professionals in patient diagnostics.
• Participate in quality assurance and laboratory safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Cytotechnology program.
• Current certification as a Cytotechnologist (ASCP-CT).
• Strong knowledge of cytopathology and laboratory procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Schedule

This position is full-time with a day shift schedule, requiring 40 hours of work per week.
