We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care services for patients with pulmonary and cardiopulmonary disorders. This role involves emergency care, intensive care, therapeutic treatment, monitoring, diagnostic testing, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory care services to patients requiring emergency and intensive care.
• Administer therapeutic treatments and conduct both invasive and non-invasive monitoring.
• Perform diagnostic testing and assist in patient education regarding respiratory health.
• Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Proficient in operating ventilators and EKGs.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification required.
• Valid state license to practice in Michigan; out-of-state licenses are not accepted.

Work Schedule:

• 36-hour workweek guarantee.
• Availability for every other weekend (Friday and Saturday) is required.
• No on-call duties are necessary for this position.
