Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a telemetry setting, ensuring that all patients receive the attention and support necessary for their recovery.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on a medical/surgical telemetry unit.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months' experience in a permanent Medical/Surgical Telemetry role.
- Valid nursing license in Ohio or a compact state.
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to work night shifts, including a schedule of three 12-hour shifts.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Schedule
This position requires a commitment to night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
