Position Overview

This role is for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Vascular ultrasound. The position requires expertise in various ultrasound exams and working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

• Shift: Evening 4x9.5 hours
• Days: Monday - Thursday
• Hours: 4 PM - 1:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, including General, Abdomen, OB/GYN, Renal/Pelvis, Small Parts, and Vascular studies.
• Conduct Doppler studies for upper and lower extremity arterial assessments.
• Covers outpatient and emergency department cases.
• Work independently with access to a radiologist via phone for urgent situations.
• Assist in transporting and moving patients in other modalities as needed.
• Collaborate with departmental team members to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Siemens and Acuson ultrasound equipment is required.
• Cerfications: RDMS in Abdomen/Obstetrics, RVT.
• Familiarity with EPIC and PACS systems.
• Experience with both pediatric and adult age groups, including geriatrics.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in performing General, Abdomen, OB/GYN, Renal/Pelvis, Small Parts, and Vascular ultrasounds.
• Experienced in using portable ultrasound equipment.

The role involves working in a collaborative team environment while prioritizing patient needs and safety.
