Job Description
Join a dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic Med/Surg unit primarily focused on adult patients with occasional pediatric cases. Collaborate with a talented group of healthcare professionals to meet the diverse needs of our patient population.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver comprehensive medical and surgical care for adult and pediatric patients.
- Utilize the Nursing Process to make critical clinical decisions.
- Ensure holistic patient care that addresses physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs.
- Work closely with the Unit Director, Clinical Nurse Lead, and Nursing Supervisor, fostering a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience, with preference for candidates with Meditech experience.
- Current RN licensure in Vermont or multi-state RN licensure.
- BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certification required.
- Flu vaccination is mandatory, no exceptions.
Shift Information
- Night shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
- Three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.
- Holiday coverage is required.
