We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Float ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in various intensive care units, including both the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), as well as other specialty and general care areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill children in various ICU settings.
• Float between multiple locations as required, providing support in PICU, NICU, and other specialty care areas.
• Maintain appropriate patient ratios of 2-3 patients per nurse.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for charting and documentation.
• Participate in holiday rotation, with required availability to work during Thanksgiving or Christmas as needed.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, including nicotine-free and flu vaccination requirements.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in both the CICU and NICU, along with experience in the PICU.
• Valid and active Georgia or compact nursing license.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Willingness to make up any missed shifts as necessary.
• Must pass a drug screening test.

Shift Details

• Night shifts are required, with a weekend block typically scheduled from Friday to Sunday.
