We are seeking a qualified OR Tech First Assist with specific expertise in neuro and plastics to join our surgical services team. This role requires a dedicated professional who is passionate about providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during procedures in the orthopedic service line, specializing in neuro spine, podiatry, ortho, and pain cases.
• Prepare and manage the operating room, ensuring a sterile environment and all necessary equipment is available.
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and support post-operative care as needed.

Schedule:

This position requires a commitment to a 4x10 schedule, with variations in start times.

• Day/Evening shifts available: 07:00 - 17:30 or 09:00 - 19:30
• Call responsibility: 4-6 calls on weekdays
• Weekend coverage: 3-5 weekend days within a six-week period
• Holiday coverage may be required as needed

Qualifications:

• Current certifications: BLS and NBSTSA
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Must have completed at least one travel assignment
• Experience in neuro and plastics is mandatory
