Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our dynamic surgical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate professional who is committed to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assessing patient conditions and providing appropriate preoperative care.
• Assisting surgical teams during procedures by providing direct patient care.
• Monitoring patients' vital signs and maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
• Collaborating with surgical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhering to protocols and guidelines to maintain patient safety and wellbeing.
• Participating in on-going education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Schedule

This position operates on a 4x10 hour shift schedule from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM. Candidates will be required to work:

• 4 shifts per 6-week schedule, including weekends.
• Holidays as they fall, as scheduled.
• On-call duty of 4 calls per 6-week period with a 1-hour response time.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in the Operating Room preferred.
