Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Acute Care Physical Therapist to join our team. This role is essential in providing comprehensive physical therapy services to inpatient and outpatient populations. The ideal candidate will possess experience in an acute care setting and demonstrate a commitment to improving patient outcomes through effective rehabilitation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients’ physical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Educate patients and families on treatment options and rehabilitation processes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe rehabilitation environment.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia state license or valid temporary license, with the ability to provide care in an acute care setting.
• Must possess relevant experience in acute care physical therapy.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, specifically Epic.

Schedule

This position requires availability for day shifts, Monday through Friday, following a consistent 5x8-hour schedule.
