We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires a dedication to providing excellent patient care in a surgical environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in a variety of surgical procedures and ensuring a safe and sterile environment in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the operating room environment by ensuring all equipment is functional and sterile.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures by providing necessary instruments and support.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide appropriate care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and post-operative care.

Work Schedule:

• Rotating shifts: 5 days of 8-hour shifts and 2 days of 12-hour shifts.
• Weekend commitment: 4 shifts in a 6-week schedule.
• Holiday coverage as required and scheduled.

On-Call Requirements:

• Participation in on-call rotations: 4 calls per 6-week period with a 1-hour response time.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in an operating room setting preferred.
• First-time travelers are welcome.
