Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
• Adapt to the needs of the surgical team and respond to emergency situations efficiently.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Shifts & Scheduling

• Rotating schedule including 5 days of 8-hour shifts and 2 days of 12-hour shifts per week.
• Weekend commitment of 4 shifts per 6-week schedule.
• Holidays are required as they fall, as scheduled.
• On-call duty of 4 calls per 6-week period with a 1-hour response time.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Prior experience in the Operating Room is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
