Job Description

Our team specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical emergencies, from minor injuries to critical situations. The registered nurse will work alongside physicians and paramedics to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with various medical conditions, prioritizing based on urgency.
• Manage triage for incoming patients, ensuring critical cases receive immediate attention.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult circumstances.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patient care.
• Utilize modern amenities and equipment to enhance patient care experiences.

Shift Notes

This position requires a 12-hour night shift with a 36-hour work guarantee. The registered nurse will also be expected to participate in weekend and holiday rotations every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the emergency department.
• Previous travel nursing experience of at least three months is required.
• Experience in rural or small facility settings is preferred.
• Current New Hampshire RN license or compact license is mandatory at the time of application.
• American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
• Traveler must possess a reliable vehicle.

Additional Information

No on-call requirements are expected for this position. Orientation is non-billable, and specific scheduling requests must be provided upon submission. Please be aware that time-off requests should be limited to a maximum of five days and outlined at the time of application.
