Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing high-quality care to patients of all ages in critical situations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to patients experiencing medical emergencies, including special care populations such as those with cancer, sepsis, and behavioral health issues.
Collaborate with medical staff in a dynamic environment that includes specialties such as catheterization labs, women's health, and stroke care.
Utilize EPIC for electronic health documentation and communication.
Participate in ongoing education and training related to Emergency Room practices and patient care standards.

Shift Details

Position requires a commitment to 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with the possibility of occasional shifts extending to 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM as needed. Coverage during weekends and holidays may also be required.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers are welcome.
Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
Experience in STEMI and stroke facilities is essential.
