Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist will work in a dynamic environment performing ultrasound general exams, including Abdomens, OB, GYN, Breast, and Vascular/Arterials. The selected candidate will be expected to work independently and efficiently communicate diagnostic information to referring physicians and radiologists.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures while ensuring patient safety and well-being.
• Evaluate and synthesize diagnostic information for effective communication with medical staff.
• Troubleshoot ultrasound equipment and coordinate repairs with service engineers.
• Assist in organizing the daily work schedule and perform related clerical duties, including patient scheduling.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and healthcare team members.
• Follow established departmental procedures and protocols.
• Possess willingness to cross-train into other imaging modalities as needed.

Shift Information

This position is a day shift role, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30/5:00 pm. There is no call required, and weekends and holidays are not part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Current certifications: ARRT, ARDMS (AB, BR, NE, OB) and valid BLS certification.
• Compliance with continuing medical education (CME) requirements.
