Description

Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist (OT) will be responsible for evaluating and treating hospitalized patients to help them regain the physical and cognitive skills necessary for daily living and ensuring a safe discharge. The role involves working closely with patients to assess their individual needs and develop specialized treatment plans aimed at rehabilitation.

Position Details

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour days with flexible start times between 7 AM and 5:30 PM.
Weekend Requirements: Possible 1-2 weekend days per month, which will be prearranged.
On Call Requirements: None.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of inpatient rehabilitation and acute care occupational therapy experience.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association).
Active state license in Michigan at the time of submission.
