Description

Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background in telemetry nursing and demonstrate excellent patient care skills.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical telemetry unit.
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.

Qualifications

Minimum of 12 months of recent, relevant experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing.
Current, active Ohio nursing license or compact state license.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

Schedule

This position offers a day shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Additional Information

Block scheduling is not available for this position. Candidates must be willing to work in a team-oriented environment focused on providing excellent patient care.
