Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care Float team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in various medical-surgical settings. This position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to diverse patient care needs across multiple units.
Shift Details
- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
- Schedule: Every other weekend required
- 30-minute lunch included in shift
Patient Care Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will float to the following units:
- 12E – Medical Comfort Care
- 11E – Surgery and GI
- 10E – Trauma
- 8E – Medical
- 7S – Observation
- 5E – Medical
- 5W – Oncology
- 4S – Medical Nephrology
- 9E – Ortho
- 7E – Joint Replacement/Ortho
- 6S & 6E – Neuro
- 9H – Vascular
- 8H – Pulmonary
- 7H – Cardiac Surgery
- 4H – Cardiac
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable acuity hospital setting
- Active and unencumbered TN (or multi-state) RN license is required
- BLS certification is required
- Cerner EMR experience is mandatory
