About This Position
We are seeking a dedicated Procedural Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neuro Interventional Radiology to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care while working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and support to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient vitals and assist in the management of patient post-procedure care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility policies.
- Participate in continuous education and training to enhance professional development.
Shift Information
- 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call requirement every fifth weekend and one night per week; must be within a 30-minute radius during on-call hours.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab settings is required. Neuro experience and critical care experience are highly preferred.
- Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- Radiation Badge: A radiation badge is required and must be supplied by the agency, as it will not be provided by the facility.
Additional Information
- Guaranteed hours may include the possibility of being called off for one shift every two weeks.
- All requests for time off must be submitted during the application process and are subject to approval based on unit needs.
- Parking fees apply only for nights and weekends with a one-time payment for a parking pass.
- Scrubs will be provided by the facility.
