We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis, starting in November. This role requires flexibility to float to other ICU units within the region as needed to maintain required hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to prescribed safety and care protocols, including medication scanning.
• Manage and prioritize patient care effectively while responding to emergencies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent and consecutive experience in an ICU setting within a hospital or acute care environment.
• Travel experience is required; first-time travelers will not be considered.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Ability to work every other weekend (EOW) and fulfill all missed shift commitments.
• Availability to respond to on-call emergencies within 1 hour if required.
• Submit all time-off requests, capped at a maximum of 7 days.

Typical Staffing Ratios:

Staffing ratios are typically 3:1 in the ICU setting.
