Job Overview

This position offers a unique opportunity to work as an Ultrasound Technologist in the Emergency Department, focusing on the care of ER patients and inpatients. The role involves operating ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic images, providing essential support in patient care within a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
• Shift Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Unit Description

The Ultrasound department features a single ultrasound room located within a radiology suite, specifically designed to serve the needs of the Emergency Room.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic imaging.
• Ensure high-quality images are captured for effective diagnosis.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Qualifications

• Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
• Required Skills: Proficient in ultrasound technology.
• Certifications: Must possess RDMS certification.
• Patient Care Ratio: 1:1 clinician to patient ratio.

Patient Population

The position primarily involves caring for Emergency Room patients and inpatients, providing crucial imaging services as part of the healthcare delivery team.
