Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar medical-surgical or telemetry setting and will be able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Days: 7 AM to 7 PM
- Every other weekend and holiday required
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts RN license required
- BLS Certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
- Minimum of 3 years of prior medical-surgical/telemetry experience
- Proficiency with Meditech software is mandatory
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly report any changes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
All applicants may be required to complete a telemetry competency assessment on the first day of orientation.
