Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) to join our team on the night shift. This vital role requires a compassionate professional with a strong background in medical surgical nursing and the ability to provide high-quality patient care.
Shift Details
- Type: Night Shift
- Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
Patient Ratios
- Day and Evening Shifts: 1:4 to 1:5
- Night Shifts: 1:6 to 1:7
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts License as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- 3-4 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience required
- Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population
- Perform thorough assessments, monitor vital signs, and manage patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans
- Document patient information and care provided accurately and timely
