• Days: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM
• 4x10 hour shifts, Monday - Friday
• 40 hours guaranteed

Weekend and On Call Requirements:

Job Description:

The Certified Surgical Technician will assist surgeons as a scrub nurse in accordance with established standards. Responsibilities include:

• Providing assistance as a 2nd circulator under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse functioning as the 1st circulator.
• Performing housekeeping duties and maintaining departmental cleanliness to ensure a safe patient environment.

Operational Information:

• Number of Operating Room Suites: 3
• Dress Code: Scrubs provided by the facility
• Patient Population: Pediatric to Geriatric
• Electronic Medical Records: EPIC

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of current surgical tech experience.
• High proficiency in orthopedic and neurological cases.
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
• Must have own transportation due to the rural location.

Additional Information:

• Non-billable orientation: 8 hours
• All requested time off during the assignment must be documented at the time of submission. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted.
• Travelers must be available for key holiday shifts, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.

Certification Requirements:

• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• New Hampshire Medical Technician license
