Description

Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Step Down specialty. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring high-quality patient care in a Step Down unit.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Step Down unit.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and medical history.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.

Qualifications

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Previous experience in a Step Down or similar nursing role is preferred.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Work Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00).
Every other weekend shifts required.

Additional Information

This position involves a ratio of 5 patients to 1 nurse, providing an environment conducive to effective patient care. This role does not have an on-call requirement.
