Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team for a 20-week contract. As an ICU RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• Shift: 3x12 Nights (19:00 - 07:00)
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
• Floating Requirement: Possible within specialty/acuity

Patient Care Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include managing and caring for patients with various diagnoses such as:

• ICU patients
• Stroke
• Renal Failure with CRRT
• Myocardial Infarction with IABP
• Respiratory Failure and Pneumonia
• Rotoprone Therapy
• Post Cardiac Arrest
• Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)
• Surgical ICU patients

Required Certifications

Candidates must hold the following certifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Equipment Utilization

The ideal candidate will be familiar with and capable of operating various specialized equipment, including:

• Ceiling lifts
• Emergency carts (Central line, Universal Critical Airway, Chest Tube, Temp Pacer, Bronch, Chemo, CRRT, Malignant Hyperthermia)

Qualifications

Charting System

Experience with EPIC charting is highly preferred.
