Job Description
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, specifically in Intermediate Care (IMC) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in IMC and ICU environments.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute personalized care plans.
- Float between IMC and ICU units as necessary, primarily working in IMC.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner electronic health records.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an ICU setting required.
- Completion of at least one travel assignment.
- Certification required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
- Successful completion of the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
Schedule
- Night shifts, 3x12 hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30).
- Every other weekend required, totaling 6 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) in a six-week period.
Additional Information
All employees are required to have the Flu vaccine.
