Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse delivers high-quality nursing care through the application of the nursing process. This role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to uphold standards for professional nursing practice. Responsibilities include carrying out functions in accordance with institutional policies, mission, and established professional and regulatory guidelines, while directing and coordinating activities to promote patient and family-centered care.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients.
• Plan and implement individualized nursing care based on patient and family requirements.
• Make appropriate interventions tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions to ensure optimal care.
• Assume responsibility for the quality of patient care, patient satisfaction, and professional development.

Shift Notes:

This position offers flexible scheduling options, including:

• Four 12-hour shifts with overtime opportunities after 48 hours.
• Three 12-hour shifts with overtime opportunities after 40 hours.

Weekend Requirements:

Every other weekend is required.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in the Emergency Room (ER) is required.
• TNCC or ENPC certification is required.
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications are mandatory.
• Active state nursing license in Michigan is required at the time of submission.

Additional Information:

This role does not require on-call responsibilities.
