We are seeking an experienced Imaging Support Technician to join our team in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be involved in the entire case workflow, demonstrating strong knowledge in vascular interventional radiology while working independently and collaboratively with the medical team.

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours (07:30 - 16:00)
• Schedule: Rotating call every fourth week

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and order cases in EPIC prior to procedures.
• Operate the table and controls during interventional procedures.
• Perform 3D spins and utilize fusion technology effectively.
• Engage actively in the procedure, including capturing and post-processing images.
• Document and manage inventory usage during procedures using HI-IQ.
• Collaborate closely with vascular surgeons, the OR team, and other procedural team members.
• Assist with simple surgical cases using a C-arm during downtime, including procedures such as Impellas and cystostomies.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Valid Virginia state license required; candidates can apply with a pending license, and temporary licensure is available provided there is licensure in another state.
• Strong background in vascular interventional radiology settings.
• Familiarity with Hybrid OR procedures.
• Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with a team.
