Description

Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

This position requires a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate comprehensive nursing care for patients in the Emergency Room (ER). The successful candidate will actively engage in patient and family education, demonstrating leadership by collaborating efficiently with nursing staff and other healthcare personnel. The RN will uphold professional nursing standards in alignment with ethical and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

Provide total nursing care tailored to each patient's unique needs.
Facilitate patient and family teaching to enhance understanding of care plans.
Work collaboratively with ancillary nursing and healthcare team members.
Maintain compliance with professional nursing practices and standards as defined in relevant nursing codes and state regulations.
Protect patient rights and privacy at all times.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience is required.
Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and BLS (AHA).
Active Michigan state nursing license at the time of application.

Work Schedule

36-hour work week guarantee.
Weekend requirements include working every third weekend and alternating holidays.
