The Nuclear Medical Technologist performs both inpatient and outpatient diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with state and federal guidelines, as well as departmental policies and procedures. This role ensures high standards of care and safety in all procedures conducted.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures for various patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and maintain accurate documentation of procedures.
• Operate nuclear medicine equipment, including Siemens Evo, to capture diagnostic images.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of travel experience in the field.
• At least 1 year of experience specifically in nuclear medicine.
• Active ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
• Experience using Epic for patient documentation.
• Demonstrated experience working with pediatric and geriatric patient populations.

Additional Requirements

• Current skills checklist, relevant to nuclear medicine, updated within the last year.
• Two supervisory references with dates of employment included.

This position does not require weekend work and has an off-premise call requirement. A traveler dosimetry badge will be provided by the agency for the duration of the assignment.
