Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in the implementation of treatment plans, educating patients on exercises and mobility techniques, and documenting patient progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and activities as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and mobility techniques.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist patients with functional mobility and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Basic understanding of physical therapy principles and practices.
