Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced X-Ray Technologist to join our team. This position requires flexibility in shifts and the ability to provide coverage across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in radiographic equipment operation and possess in-depth knowledge of radiation safety and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic imaging procedures independently and competently.
• Maintain knowledge of radiation safety protocols and ensure compliance during imaging processes.
• Utilize Meditech EMR and various radiographic systems, including Philips DR and Konica DR.
• Provide coverage at additional facilities, which may include varied 8-hour or 10-hour shifts and 12-hour shifts with on-call responsibilities.
• Be available to work an average of 3 days of call per month.
• Arrive on the island prior to the start date for HR clearance appointments.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a radiologic technologist.
• Current State Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer in Hawaii.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Must possess a dosimeter badge.
• Experience with Philips C-arms and OEC C-arms preferred.

Work Environment

This position may involve travel to different locations within the region, requiring adaptability to varied working conditions and schedules.
