Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist with extensive experience in pediatric care to join our team. The ideal candidate will work primarily in high-level NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings, with a focus on providing exceptional respiratory care to pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients in the NICU, PICU, and CVICU.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient condition, ensuring prompt interventions as needed.
• Provide education and support to patients' families regarding respiratory health.
• May be required to float to various locations including children's rehabilitation and NICU facilities within the region.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Ohio RRT license.
• Minimum of two years of experience in pediatrics, specifically in NICU, PICU, and CVICU.
• Required certifications: NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP & PALS.
• Hands-on experience with high-level care in a level 4 NICU.

Work Schedule

Shifts available are either 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour options. All requests for time off and scheduling preferences must be communicated during the submission and interview process.

Additional Requirements

Candidates will need to undergo two fingerprinting processes: one onsite for facility compliance prior to starting and a second one through the agency.
