Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for an 8-week assignment starting on January 5th. The position involves working 12-hour night shifts, with every other weekend commitment required. Candidates will be responsible for their own monitoring and interpretation of ECG strips, as there are no telemetry technicians available on this unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring patient vital signs and recording medical information
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Interpreting ECG strips accurately; passing required testing during onboarding
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing school
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute medical-surgical and telemetry nursing experience
• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
• Certifications: CPR and ACLS certification required
• Skills: Epic experience is mandatory

Testing Requirements

All candidates must pass a Dysrhythmia test (20 questions) and a Medications test (20 questions). These tests will be administered remotely via Zoom prior to acceptance. A passing score of 85% is required, and there is only one opportunity to pass each test. Preparation is highly recommended using the provided study guide.

Work Schedule

This position is for night shifts, requiring 12-hour work hours with a commitment to working every other weekend. Candidates should not request more than three days off during this period.
