Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This role requires dedication and expertise in providing high-quality care to critical patient populations. The position includes evening/night shifts of 1900-0730 with a rotation of every other weekend and some holidays.
Responsibilities
- Manage the care of patients in the ICU and IMC settings
- Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
- Experience in ICU required
- Neurosurgery experience preferred
- Proficient in using Epic for electronic health records
- Willingness to work with both ICU and IMC patient populations
Additional Requirements
Candidates will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to starting the position.
Work Schedule
Options include 4x12 shifts or a Friday through Sunday block schedule.
