Description

PCU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

Seeking a skilled PCU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support within a progressive care unit.

Key Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in health status.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and families about health management and care plans.

Position Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse with proficiency in IV start.
Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
Experience with Meditech charting is necessary.
Willingness to float to meet facility needs.

Shift Details

Night shifts of 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00).
Weekend rotation required.

Additional Information

Guaranteed hours: 40 hours/week.
Any request for time off (RTO) must be approved and documented before the start of the assignment.
Scrub colors: Any color; scrubs for OR/L&D/Cath Lab will be provided.
Parking is available at no cost.

Location

Position based in a Level 3 Trauma acute care facility. Located in a vibrant community known for its support of healthcare professionals.
