Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care to a diverse patient population, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and a strong background in pediatric and adult respiratory care.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments according to established protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed.

Shift Information

• Schedule: Nights, 3 shifts of 12 hours each (19:00 - 07:30)
• Every other weekend required, as scheduled
• Mandatory holiday coverage, as scheduled
• Floating within the specialty and supportive care areas as required

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory care; first-time travelers with strong pediatric/adult experience will be considered
