We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a fast-paced and high-volume Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to manage patients with multiple and complex diagnoses.

Position Details

• Contract Length: 16 weeks
• Shift Availability: 3x12 or 4x12 hours, Nights (19:00 - 07:30)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required; 4 weekends in a 16-week period
• Holidays: Required, as scheduled
• Float Requirement: May float to other care areas of equal or lesser acuity, including a sister facility if necessary

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Manage a patient ratio of 1:5, with the possibility of up to 6 patients in cases of lower acuity.
• Provide care primarily to adult and geriatric patients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience required.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Active RN license from the state of Maryland.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, and CPI.

Technology and Attire

• EMR/Charting System: Experience with EPIC required.
• Scrubs: Royal Blue.
