Position Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures.
Position Information
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
- Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Call Requirements: 15 days a month, including two weekends
- Required Certifications: RN License, BLS
- Years of Experience: 2 years
- Float Requirements: Yes, general OR if available

- Number of Beds: 25
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Equipment: DaVinci Surgical System
- EHR: EPIC
- Patient Population: Adults, Geriatrics
Hiring Profile
- Must Have Skills/Experience:
- Circular CVOR experience
- Aseptic Technique
- Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
- Mitral Valve Replacement
- Pericardial Window
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
- Preferred Skillset/Experience:
- Inpatient and Outpatient Care
- Trauma experience
- Vascular procedures
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair
- Atrial Septal Defect Repair
- Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) management
- Additional Requirements:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and quality care
Dress Code
Scrubs will be provided through a dispensary.
