Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our medical-surgical team. This role requires a patient-focused approach and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and provide education to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation as per departmental standards.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to other areas as needed and provide support during high-demand periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is preferred, with prior travel experience being a plus.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required; PALS certification is preferred.
• Must possess IV skills and telemetry monitoring proficiency.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Unit Information

• Patient Ratios: 1:5 on days, 1:6 on nights.
• Medical-Surgical Units serve patients with orthopedic, general surgery, and urology needs, as well as high-acuity diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, and PNA.
• Admits pediatric patients, requiring PALS certification for nursing staff caring for this population.

Shift Information

• Full-time positions available with guaranteed weekly hours.
• Every other weekend commitment is required.

Dress Code

• Scrubs: Any color, provided they are clean and in good repair. No prints allowed.
• Unacceptable attire includes hoodies and shoes with holes or open toes.
