We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a critical access hospital. This role involves multi-faceted responsibilities covering various patient care areas, including emergency, acute, and long-term care.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Emergency Room, as well as in acute and long-term care settings.
• Administer medications and perform procedures for both long-term and acute care patients.
• Support other nursing areas when the Emergency Room is not busy.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Shift Information

• Schedule consists of 6 shifts, each 12 hours long, totaling 72 hours in a two-week period.
• Every 3rd weekend off.
• Holiday coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department (ED).
• Current BLS/BCLS certification is required.
• A valid Hawaii nursing license must be obtained prior to the start of the assignment.
