Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This is a full-time position involving both day and call shifts, providing the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts from 06:15 to 16:45
• Call requirements: 2 days a week and every 3rd weekend
• Floating to the OR may be required as needed
• Orientation: 24 hours of orientation provided based on the traveler's experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a CVOR setting
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:1
• Manage an average of 6 visits per day across 3 rooms
• Participate as part of the Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team, reporting to work during catastrophic events or disasters when necessary
• Documentation and communication using systems such as PYXIS and EPIC

Qualifications

• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Experience with ECMO and Impella technology is required
• First-time travelers are welcome, provided they meet the experience requirements
